HOW DO WE RESERVE YOUR SERVICES TO MARRY US?
Give me a call or write me a note to express your interest and let me know the date of your wedding. We’ll set an appointment to meet, and after spending about an hour together to get better acquainted, you can decide if you’d like me to officiate your wedding. If I have the date available and feel that I can serve you effectively, a $100 deposit will reserve your date on my calendar. After that initial meeting, we’ll stay in touch and plan one more meeting to solidify all of the remaining details.
WHAT HELP DO YOU PROVIDE US?
I’ll talk over with you what a typical ceremony includes, and we’ll discuss several ways to customize the details of the ceremony to reflect who you are. Although a ceremony usually lasts about 20 minutes, it’s still important to make it something that you will reflect back on with pride and fondness, rather than merely a formality before the party.
I’ll ask you lots of questions, suggest books, and provide advice that comes from my experience as a husband, pastor, and friend.
When you have questions, I am just a phone call or e-mail away.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
See the Philosophy and Fee Tab on this website.
My services include several options that are not often provided by other wedding officiants. See for yourself. I am also available anytime to provide assistance to you. A $100 deposit reserves my services. The balance is paid at the wedding. If for any reason I need to cancel, I will return your deposit and provide you with the names of capable replacements. If you need to cancel for any reason, the deposit is non-refundable.
Obviously, the wrong officiant can make or break your wedding experience. I guarantee that you’ll be glad your hired me to serve you.
DO YOU COME TO THE REHEARSAL?
It may not be necessary for me to be at the rehearsal, especially if you have a wedding coordinator. However, I will be there if it will help diminish your stress level, or you need my services to organize the event to run smoothly. And, don’t worry- I’ll show up early for the wedding.
